Spooky House

And there is this house around the corner... 

The house was for rent, for almost 2 years. I believe it took so long because of the economic crisis.

But it is a very nice place surrounded by beautiful parks and ancient trees. There was this very orange city sky on a winter night. The watter was frozen. It was very very cold and when we were biking back I though that something was very strange on the house: it had 1000000 watts on lamps outside but it was completely dark inside.

I went back home to grab the camera, took the picture and forgot about it. Simply because I did not know what to do it.

With all this time spent home, I have found some nice images lost in the HD, this one included.

I have eliminated the orange cast of it, just leaving a bit of the original pink of the house. Also the cropping was very severe: the trees should have more space, so I used them as a frame for the picture. Contrast has been pumped and the light bulbs carefully made bright without overwhelming the house. The original was also not bad, but it had too much interference, too many elements, which distracted a bit from what I saw.
