An inside day is also a photography day

I cannot complain. In fact, I am very lucky. I could not go out today because of the excessive snow. But, looking at the other side of all this white thing laying on the street, I had two great photography opportunities.

First opportunity was to set my tuscan apparel to measure the snow fall outside! That was fun! A piece of styrofoam marked on each 2,5 cm. By the end of the day I've got 17,5 cm of snow on the backyard. A record for Dutch standards. It's very difficult to photograph snow. It can come up pink, blue, purple.. But not really white. Snow is something you need to workout to correct. In iPad I don't have a way to fix it but I like my blue snow! If your camera has a snow setting, activate it!

Well, the same snow that gave me lots of photographic fun today has also caused Mr Husband to be stuck in Sweden....

Anyway, this has given me another great opportunity! The pictures I've send to print got in! And I've started to stick them!

It's some work.. But better than the infamous digital albums.

Both of the pictures on this post have been made with my almost-compact camera and adjusted for CONTRAST and color with Photoshop for Ipad. I am really enjoying this new workflow! No computers needed!
