Inspiration and attraction

This picture was taken with film. It was spring 2004 and I had a Canon and one Sigma lens.

This picture has no technique, but it has the freedom that I experienced when my mind was clean of small details. It is creative.

This creativity went for some time away as soon as I tried to grasp the technique. I was so busy with the details that I (temporarily) forgot about the big picture. I was so busy chasing the shrimps that I forgot I could fly.

Luckily it didn't take me one life to recover the ability to fly...

This is not a technical post, despite of the fact that this picture has been scanned at home ages ago and has 1.000.000 dust spots I could easily remove with a retouch brush. This is not the subject here.

This post is to remind me that I can fly, even when I feel emprisioned by the learning process. I can get inspired by images, despite of the so many other facts that happen on life and that seem to distract my creative process.

And this process attracts the right people and the right snapshots. And the right people and the right images attract even more right people (although it can put some distance on some others).
