This week I have learned something new: sometimes friends just need a warm hug instead of advice or problem solving skills.
Looks funny for me to say that, because this is not new for me: it was one of the weak points on dealing with Mr. M.: I would come back home after a difficult day at work and he would try to give me advice and find what the best for me was, and I would complain because everything I wanted was a warm hug and a glass of wine.
This week I've got surprised to see myself on the other side, trying to solve the questions on the head of my dear friend while she only wanted a warm presence and a listening ear.
Dear Yoda, I've got the message. And I must laugh if I remember of the many times I just wanted a warm nest instead of someone trying to solve my problems.
On the picture: my warmest Tuscany sunset. As a gift.
