Love and water

One may say that I have already a nice full-time job,  two wonderful kids, one beloved husband, photography as serious hobby, a comfortable house and that I should be happy with that.

But nope... I also want a gorgeous garden. A gorgeous suspended garden.

I don't have a garden because I live on the first floor.  I have plenty of space to make a nice suspended garden, but there is no garden without moist and I am warning you. You need moist. A lot of it.

Six years ago I started to look for alternatives and studies on how to create a nice suspended garden: what kind of plants, how to keep them moist, what would survive the hard Dutch winter winds when thermal sensation can get down to -17o.

And more than that: how to grow beautiful plants when you need to work up to 2AM sometimes and have no time to give them a drop of water or attention!

Well, I know enough to write a book.

And behalf of a man that can make great pots, I also have an irrigation system that saves my life on the days when I can't even take care of my nails.

For the season, we keep all sorts of herbs.

Everything with the all-present Gardena tubes and a computer that I can regulate to give water to my babies.

And now we have also bamboos! They are so cute!

The idea is to offer privacy to our neighbors downstairs and also to ourselves but errr.. hummm, I think they need to grow a bit.

They will grow, someday, with the correct amount of love and water.

A happy mother's day!
