I was able to take many good shots. Here I am posting the ones that are just, well, you will see.
A first great opportunity: the kids found a cache (the girl already knows the cache is there). Guided by my friend, they supported the box on the window and this was everything I needed to frame them. Light, of course, helped: no hash sun going on their faces.
This is a trench, used on the second World War. And is perfect to be used as a frame. I took around 30 pictures here but just a few of them were sharp (enough, not perfectly sharp). It is very difficult to take sharp pictures of unwilling children running around. I should have fixed a focus somewhere and just waited until one of them passed the focus point. I did not manage it well, so, this is the one of a kind.
The trench from inside. I am not sure if we got bloody battles on this place. I didn't see any blood.

Another favorite: a hey shower, perfect for my hey fever! Here the sky is the background. Again the light helped being so soft with me. I like the movement!
Barns. I didn't know the light could be so beautiful inside! This is one of my favorites as well. For the image it evokes, for the feelings.
And here, the funny dogs. They walk around with a brush. They choose someone and lay the brush on the ground and stay looking into your eyes until you pick the brush and throw it away. While you stay there looking at them and trying to understand what is going on (I am not familiar with the dogs), they bend the head down and I can read their thoughts "You stupid human being, pick this brush and throw it because I want to play."
I am more and more able to manage low apertures and depth correctly. I am starting to understand a couple of things (duh?!).
Again a simple one: keep some distance and allow the context to get into the picture. When we start photographing we learn to isolate our subject by getting close by. I am now learning how to do the same without being so close and intrusive. The knowledge are on the books. And on the blogs.
A great, wonderful day. Fully present. Thank you!
Love the pictures, specially the one with hey & girl. Beautiful!!!
