#11 [Consistency]
This morning I woke up very tired. I think my blood is too thin. I brought Smallboy to the school and it was raining and cold. When I got back home, the only thing I wanted to do was to rest, and so I did. I just sat on the couch and stayed there quiet for 30 minutes, before opening the laptop to work with my DBA hat.
At lunch time, I did not go to run. I had a power-nap instead and right now the only thing I can think about is the bed time. Life is like this: sometimes we need to back off. But backing off doesn't mean giving up!
While I was changing the plans for my day and taking it easy, I was thinking if one day I could produce consistent photography. Nowadays I photograph as I cook: everyday it has a different taste.
But then I saw a post on Ree's blog, showing her progress with food photography and the reminder at the end: practice is the only way to improve your photography. This is all I wanted to listen to.
This picture was taken after the snowfall of February 2010. With a tripod: indispensable accessory when talking about night photography. It has been exposed during 30 seconds on f/7.1 to achieve sharpness on the little house behind the trees.
Cheers!
