I've got those ear pins from Brazil (thanks!!!). They have so beautiful things there: clothes, bags, shoes... I always get crazy with Brazilian fashion.

Anyway, I wanted to photograph them!

I made a table top arrangement with Thomas' toys and set my two strobes, at 45 degrees on each side.I like the shadows on both sides of the pins but the lighting is somehow not good. I tried to make the white more white but I started then to blown up and lose detail on the flowers.

I really need a macro lens for this kind of work. It took me one hour to fix this picture. And the focus is... muá... acceptable, but far from being a real product photography. I could not zoom more than that and I would like to make them so big as to fill the frame!

As a by-product, I've got my own picture. That was the initial planning: to have the ear pins photographed on my own ears, but I did not manage to get it sharp.

P.S.: Today I realized how nice is to make such a blog and how many nice stuff you have around you to photograph. Happy :)
