I am reading David duChemin's book, "A Deeper Frame" and I am training the concepts today. It is so nice to keep yourself inspired!
This is a picture I took to Alice. It's her birthday today and I have shooted this one from the train, with the Iphone "Hipstamaic" application. I just loved it! I will post a series only with my favorite IPhone pictures.
I must confess that my only talent here was to keep a relative firm grip. The tractor was a gift, the white cloth was a gift, the clouds were a gift. To Alice...
And then I've got back home. And there are my wonderful, scented, lilies . They get nicer and nicer each day! I think they will last forever!
I also got the thank you card from Stefan and Aylin! When I was planning to work as a photographer, I've got lots of inspiration on this site, and for my surprise, they were the photographers of my friends! They have a good taste for sure!
And here my dutch passion: hagelslag. Extra extra pure. There is no other brand, in the world, able to produce this finest absurdly nice dish. I love it at breakfast and as a desert.
And this is how I like it most: with thin crispy sesame toasts. Love it!
Notice that I am not cropping the pictures so close any more. I am looking at the perspective on the surroundings. Fixing the things around the frame and leaving some space around my subject. I tend to crop very tightly, almost always, but I realize that it can also be fun if you leave some context around.
What matters is the story you want to register. You must be happy with your own photographs.
Cheers!
Everythingi is a gift! Thank you, dear friend.
