Who is behind the door?

Back! This time with a nice project around the street's website: our own Facebook.

The idea is that we know who is who and the site is going "live" during the street party on September.

Last Sunday I got really scared by a neighbor who approached me while I was taking the pictures and was  kind of "suspecting" of the work I was doing.  He was "direct"... (I can't use the word rude because it doesn't exit at Frogland. People here are not rude: they are "direct") .

I found it very funny because I say good morning to him every day. He lives literally 5 doors after me. He said he did not know me.... Helloooo! Ground control to Major Tom!!!! Ah, may be because I had straightened my hair.. that's it!

Back to the website, this is the basic idea: we post  pictures for each of the doors.

And when you click on the door, you can see the inhabitants with their names and a quick description.

IMPORTANT!!! The page is protected and requires a password. When we go "live" during the street party, everybody gets to see it. After that it gets closed and only with the password you can get in.

It's just a prototype. I needed to start somewhere. The clock is ticking and I am so busy!

I like the pattern the doors make.  Initially I thought about using the house numbers on the photograph but that is not possible: they were too small. So I put the number under each of the doors but I still need to work on the font.

Also the borders, they will eventually vanish. It is already too busy.

A start! And I am happy with the result!
