Of course we are not talking about Frogland... This is Tuscany!
This is a technique that I am far from fully understanding. I think I could learn a lot if I would study a bit more and perform many other trials.
The technicalities of my "short film":
1) This is a humble first trial of a time lapse film
2) Of course I don't have a time lapse trigger. I have used my IPhone meditation clock to send me a sign every five minutes, so I could press the remote control of the camera
3) Back home I saw many things to improve next time, mainly focus and exposure.
4) I used this tutorial to render the film on the MAC but as usual, iMovie destroys the quality of any picture when you import it. I have tried all the tips I have found on the net without success. In this sense, I miss the Windows movie editor. Just the standard one. It is perfect to make slideshows.
6) I have uploaded the film in HD to Youtube. If you have patience, you can watch it on HD mode, on a bigger screen. You might need to wait until the film loads for the first time but from the second time on, the details are much better.
5) and finally: it is A LOT of fun doing that. Something to get back to many many times!
;o)
