#13 [Freedom]

I have a very sensitive stomach, or better saying, a very sensitive emotional system which can knock me out sometimes. Being exposed to the actual media makes me freak out: floods, tsunamis, p3d0ph1l3s (written like this to not attract undesired visitors)... everything that imposes suffering to other people also brings me a deep, utter, sadness. I urgently need to learn how to set some distance between me and all the world around me because what comes into my ears sucks my energy like a Harry Potter's dementor.

About the picture

This picture has been taken a long time ago, with film and later on, scanned. Everything must be corrected. The picture looked like it had been "demented" (see original below). And here comes the trick: scanning your images is like printing your own pictures. When we had film, who made your old pictures beautiful was the guy behind the machine, not you. When you start dealing with digital you learn that you must be the guy behind the counter and you must master your skills to correct digital images.

An image, coming from the camera, must be well composed, sharp and have all the pixels correctly exposed (no super-highlights, no super-darks). The rest you do on your computer. Some people hate it, some people love it.

I can spend one entire day doing it!
